About the Role
UDAAN Society invites applications from dynamic, committed, and passionate professionals for a district-level development project in District Amroha, Uttar Pradesh.
We are looking for dedicated individuals who believe in community participation, sustainable development, and improving the quality of life in rural communities.
Positions Available
1. District Coordinator (01 Position)
Location: Amroha District Headquarters
Essential Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW), Rural Development, Sociology, Public Health, Environmental Science, Development Studies, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in rural development, WASH, community mobilisation, government programmes, or NGO sector.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Experience of working with district administration will be preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office and digital reporting.
2. Block Coordinator (10 Positions)
Locations: Various Development Blocks of Amroha District
Essential Qualifications
Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Rural Development, Sociology, Public Health, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of field experience in rural development, WASH, livelihood, health, education, or community mobilisation.
Good communication skills in Hindi.
Basic computer knowledge and smartphone proficiency.
Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas.
Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Having Experience In

Key Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities for District Coordinator
- Lead and coordinate implementation of district-level project activities.
- Develop strong coordination with district administration, line departments, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare implementation plans, monthly work plans, and progress reports.
- Supervise Block Coordinators and ensure quality implementation.
- Monitor project indicators and documentation.
- Facilitate trainings, workshops, review meetings, and community events.
- Ensure timely reporting and compliance with project guidelines.
- Support monitoring, evaluation, and knowledge management activities.
- Key Responsibilities for Block Coordinator
- Coordinate project implementation at block and village level.
- Support Gram Panchayats, Village Water & Sanitation Committees (VWSCs), frontline workers, and community institutions.
- Facilitate awareness campaigns, behaviour change activities, village meetings, and capacity-building programmes.
- Monitor field activities and maintain project documentation.
- Collect field data using digital tools.
- Coordinate with block-level government departments.
- Support water, sanitation, hygiene, waste management, and community engagement activities.
- Submit regular reports to the District Coordinator.
